Per flyertalk, 7011111 is a code for travel agents, who may or may not need their IATA cards to get the car

it's a gamble that usually pays off unless you have an accident

That word "GAMLBE" scares me. I'd hate to think of the cost if you booked it under this code and they happened to ask for the specific card and you didn't have it and had to rebook on the spot. :eareek: There was another code floating around that supposidly worked for some but not others, it was a code for people who lived in Costa Rica I think.

Luckily, the BJ's rate I have right now is slightly better (it's not a good rate, but cheaper than those) than the rate of both of these codes so I won't be tempted to book with them.

always have a back up :) I would not be afraid of them not honoring it just if you got into an accident then you mightbe sol
