So, for those of you who know me and my family, we have a rather larger then normal sized family, with 2 adults and 4 children, I'm finding it difficult to be able to reserve online! It says that with a party as big as mine I need to call in advance in order to book a trip, this is a turn off to me, I like to do all my vacation bookings and plans online! Please help if you know how to get around this little bump in the road!

I just did a quick search. When are you trying to book reservations for and for where? I put in 2 adults and 4 chidren (10, 8, 6, 6) just for a test and picked a moderate resort. It bumped me up and gave me prices for either the Fort Wilderness Cabins, Saratoga Springs or Old Key West. Didn't say anything about needing to call. It let me go through to the confirmation page, right before you buy. Maybe the resort you are trying to book doesn't accomodate 6 people?

I will keep that in mind, I may have been jumping the gun, I'm looking for next summer, but I also tried for this summer just to test it out, and it wouldn't let me, I wasn't trying for a certain resort, was trying to see the different package prices for the different resorts. Let me know if you can where you went straight to, to look for prices. I find this interesting. Thanks

Yeah, I don't think you can book for next year yet.

I just went to the reservation page. Actually, I think I went through the Free Dining link, used our dates as a test. Give me your dates and party information (kids ages) if you want, I'll see what I get when I put in your actual dates and party information.

I was looking for next July 17-24 of 2010, I'd really like to get my 2 girls to do breakfast with the princess' we've heard so much about from our cousins. I realize I may need to wait till next January for possible reservation quotes. Kids ages are, well next year will be, 11,9,8, and 4. Thanks so much!

To book in 2010 you need to wait for fall when Disney sets the pricing. Personally I would rent points for a dvc unit. you wuold need a 2 bedroom. Great place to rent from is

I'll refrain from using names, so thanks Grumpy, I'll start there and see where it gets me for an idea for the fall!

Will do, one question the cheapest on that site for 7 days, at the animal kingdom villas was something like 250 points, which comes to almost $3300, i've seen online advertised $58 a night per person, which would be almost $1000 less then the other way, do you know where that is advertised for? I'd like to start planning this now if possible, and want to know more about the whole breakfast with the princess. Thanks again!

Value resorts are the cheapest (think Motel 6) but with awesome themeing

Moderates

Deluxe

$58 sounds like a January rate for a value.

They run different promos different times of the year. Summer the last couple of years is free dining. You pay rack rate for the room but get your dining for free.
