IllumiNations Earth barge is being refurb

The Earth Barge is now out of the show and in refurbishment ncluding new LED display system. Should take 3-4 weeks and has been in the works for over a year.

Thanks for the link! :) I get chills every time I watch Illuminations, even via You Tube!

Any word if this is an "enhancement" or strictly a refurb?

I'm one of those people that loves to look at the images on the Earth barge - and no matter how many times I've seen Illuminations, I always spot something I hadn't noticed before! :goofy:

from what I heard it is strictky a refurb along with Mary's voice being replaced with the guy's voice who does all the MK announcements.

Guess we will wait and see :)
