More than 200 community members volunteered at the elementary school to landscape and revitalize the campus as part of the Disney Parksâ?? announcement of â??Give a Day, Get a Disney Dayâ?? for 2010. Starting Jan. 1, 2010, Disney Parks will give a free one-day admission to a Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort theme park to 1 million people in the U.S. and Canada who perform volunteer service with a participating organization. Disney Parks is working with HandsOn Network, the nation's largest volunteer network, to connect families and individual volunteers to projects.
