We don't leave until 11/29 but I am already thinking about what to pack for our trip. My family includes myself, my husband, and our 18 month old child (at the time of trip). So as a Disney Virgin I am concerned I will forget something or over pack. So I was wondering if everyone would like to post their packing list or never go to disney without list. I would really appreciate it. Also, if you have a list of things you wouldn't bother packing and just buy down there let me know that too.

Thanks everyone!:pooh:

Try this! lol

I do not use it, but thought it might help!
This might overwhelm you a bit...and you might think, I better start packing NOW! lol

Perhaps use it as a guide..to get you started.

I usually overpack, so maybe I do need a list!

With a little one, little toys to keep them busy, sometimes, something NEW, that they haven't seen before works well on the plane.
Depending on the length of your trip, I have used a local grocery delivery service for diapers, wipes and other needs. I used wegoshop.com and she was great.

I would just start with each family member.....what does each one need? And go from there....
Remember, everything is always more expensive in WDW.
However, keep in mind what airline carrier you are using. Is each person with a paid seat allowed one checked in piece of luggage?
Hope this helped..even if a little :)

.... but I think I should cancel my flights, rent a van, load it up with items from the list and then drive down!

Just kidding. My question to you and to everyone else is, a weeks worth of diapers is going to take up a lot of room. Would you buy those down there. I know things are expensive there but how much more. What else would you buy down there?

How many of you guys and girls use the laundry facility?

So many questions so little time. Can you tell I have never been?

T-Rex, I have no idea who would actually use that list! LOL

Anyway, this last trip I did pack diapers for 5 day trip..and swim diapers..I just found places to squeeze them in after I packed.

In the past, for longer stays, I had them delivered along with other baby/little ones needs. If you're a good packer:) you can probably get away with packing a weeks worth of diapers.
It may not be worth it to have them delivered if you're not intending of ordering alot of other items.
Good Luck!
Someone can hopefully respond to the laundry facilities inquiry:) Depending on where you are staying, they are sometimes located near the pool:)

T-Rex. Use the 30 minute grocery stop and get your diapers and anything else at the grocery store u need. You might pay a little more then walmart but it is less luggage and travel headache

I agree with others, if you can get the diapers down there, try to do that. That's what we did when we traveled and DD was still in diapers. We always rented a car so it was easy.

I've used the laundry facilites at the All Star Movie resort. It was right near the pool (if I remember correctly - it was a while ago). We were there for 2 weeks and there was no way I was packing 2 weeks worth of clothes so I did laundry mid trip. I think it was $2 per load to wash and close to that, if not the same to dry. I think I consolidated and did just 2 loads, darks/denim and lights/whites. Did everything at the same time because there were lots of machines. It wasn't a big deal. :ms:

Oh, that is perfect! If you're not using Magical Express, this IS the best option!!!

For what we pack is pretty easy

2-3 pairs of shorts
1 bathing suit
3 T-shirts and 1 polo shirt
underwear

We have the luxury of having a washer dryer in our room so we pack light.

Now I ahev an Oners Locker I might leave them there and not worry about packing anymore :)

Thanks for the info. I will definitely use the grocery stop. I know we are going to be needing a few things like banana's for our monkey and wipes and diapers would be easier to get there.

Thanks again everyone.
