Cruise Sale - sample prices and destinations
The lowest-priced option was a four-night Carnival Baja Mexico cruise departing Long Beach and visiting Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico, starting at $174 per person, pre-tax, based on double occupancy.
When I searched by all cruises departing from Los Angeles, I found a seven-night Alaska cruise for $86 per night with an ocean-view cabin on the Norwegian Star that visited Juneau, Alaska; Ketchikan, Alaska; Alaska’s Inside Passage; and Vancouver, Canada.
TIPS
If you start with the main Winter Cruise Event page, you can easily scan which cruise lines are offering deal extras such as cabin upgrades, on-board credit and more.
When searching by destination, don’t forget to look for the Orbitz “special offer” marked in green with a dollar sign. I found a seven-night Mexican Riviera cruise on the Norwegian Star with “30% off spa, casino deals and more” and a tip to ask about “$300 FREE Spending per Suite!”
