Amid signs of weakness in the U.S. and European economies, SeaWorld Orlando this week introduced a new promotion designed to entice consumers with free hotel rooms and meals.
The discount launched just as ratings firm Standard & Poor's raised its outlook for SeaWorld's parent company, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, but warned that the company could face slowing attendance growth this fall.

In hopes of counteracting any slowdown, SeaWorld Orlando rolled out a new promotion in which travelers who book two nights at one of a number of nearby hotels can get a third night for free. Travelers will also get free, all-day dining at certain in-park restaurants and free front-of-the-line access to rides.
SeaWorld said the offer is good for travel now through Dec. 25. Travelers must purchase a minimum of 2 SeaWorld tickets as part of the hotel package.
