Clare Bilby announces Grand Floridian DVC at the 2011 Disney Vacation Club Condominium Association Meeting.

It's official! Disney will build ~147 DVC villas at Grand Floridian. Expected to open in late 2013.

Bet those points are going to be expensive.

Yeah I thought regular DVC was expensive - can't imagine what those will be!! We shall see.

With only 147 villas you have to buy in to it to stay in it. It going to be hard seven months in advance. Ugh
