Take the extra time to make oyur own autographo bok. It will not only save you some $ in the long run but rumor has it will increase the character interaction with the kids.
We made ours! And this year we are bringing a pillowcase and craft ring with fabric markers for the characters to sign. She has so many books already, read about this on another site and thought it would make a useful souvenier.

When we went on a Disney Cruise this past Thanksgiving, I brought a mat board for a picture frame. I gave it to the front desk when we boarded and asked them to have the characters sign it for me (I supplied a sharpie also). By the time we left, we had a great autographed mat to use with our favorite picture from the cruise! A great & inexpensive souvenir!
You can bring it to the parks too and have the characters sign that instead....it's just a little harder to carry around without it getting bent. But it's a great idea too! (and don't forget the character restaurants too![]()

nice tip![]()
We made our own "passports" for the kids that doubled as autograph books. They had the kids' pictures in them along with pages for stamps from the Epcot countries and autographs from characters. The kids enjoyed getting their passports stamped, and they make a fun keepsake.
