FORESTVILLE, N.Y. (AP) - A western New York winery hopes to get its break in the Florida market when it's featured an an international food and wine festival next month at Epcot Center in Orlando.
Edwin Rodriguez, a spokesman for Merritt Estate Winery in Chautauqua County, says it's a huge opportunity. The winery will showcase its award-winning Bella Rosa, Chautauqua Blush and Riesling.
William Merritt, president of the winery, says there's a lot of market potential in Florida because so many New Yorkers move there to retire.
