PLEASURE ISLAND NIGHTCLUBS CLOSING

After close to 20 years in operation, Disney's Pleasure Island is undergoing a major overhaul, including the closure of the Adventurer's Club, Comedy Warehouse, 8 Traxx, Motion, Mannequins and BET Sound Stage.

SCHEDULE SEPTEMBER 25 -27:
Adventurer's Club open at 6pm with additional Library shows
Comedy Warehouse opens early with shows at 6:55pm, 8pm, 9:10pm, 10:25pm, 11:35pm and 12:45am
SEPTEMBER 25-26: Live Band "Hip Kitty" performing four 45 minute sets: 7:30pm, 8:45pm, 10pm, 11:15pm
SEPTEMBER 27: Live Band "Frankie and the West End Boys" performing four 45 minute sets: 7:30pm, 8:45pm, 10pm, 11:15pm
DJ will be performing from 6pm - 1:30am between band sets

While details are scant, the redesigned Pleasure Island will be a mix of new dining and shopping venues.

Pleasure Island Annual Passholders can request a pro-rated refund.

The Pleasure Island nightclub entry option on both Premium Annual Passes and Water Park Fun & More passes will no longer be offered after September 28. Starting on June 28, a round of golf on the nine-hole Oak Trail Golf Course became a ticket enhancement for both of these passes.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- The party is over at Downtown Disney’s Pleasure Island. Saturday was the last night that nightclubs were open at the Disney attraction.

In June, Disney announced it would replace the six clubs on Pleasure Island with more family-friendly stores and restaurants.

Guests began lining up around 10:00 Saturday morning to get into the popular Adventurer’s Club.

Hundreds of fans showed up for one last dance, and all six clubs opened an hour early to accommodate the crowds. Special entertainment was on hand, and a surprise fireworks show was planned for those who showed up to say goodbye.
