Cruise line Royal Caribbean has unveiled another 'neighbourhood' that will be part of Oasis of the Seas, an entertainment zone incorporating a number of different venues and experiences.
The new area is one of seven neighbourhoods that have been announced for Oasis of the Seas, along with a Central Park area, a pool and sports zone, a fitness centre and a boardwalk.
Venues that passengers will be able to visit in the entertainment zone include Blaze nightclub, a jazz lounge, a comedy club and a dance centre that will host lessons, competitions and themed evenings.
The new neighbourhood was unveiled recently at the CruiseOne and Cruises Inc national conference during a cruise to Alaska.
Brad Tolkin, co-chief executive of World Travel Holdings, said: 'We are extremely proud that our partners were the very first to get a glimpse of the exciting new entertainment complex on Oasis of the Seas.'
Oasis of the Seas is set to launch in late 2009 and, according to Royal Caribbean, will be the largest and most revolutionary cruise ship in the world.
The liner will sail from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and will have the capacity to carry 5,400 guests at double occupancy
