Dewayne Bevil | Sentinel Staff Writer September 26, 2008 WHAT: Long-spinning game show Wheel of Fortune will tape episodes at SeaWorld Orlando in December, but before that can happen, producers must find contestants. The first opportunities for locals to vie for big money and vowel-buying will be this weekend at the theme park. Hopefuls will fill out applications there, which will lead to random selection of potential players. (Translation: Luck required.)

Those folk will compete in a simulated version of the game. Prizes will be awarded.

From that pool of people, Wheel officials will select some to advance to additional auditions later this fall. It's fair to say that energy and enthusiasm will count for something.

A similar audition will be held Oct. 4-5 at Seminole Towne Center in Sanford.

WHEN: 2 p.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

WHERE: Use Central Florida Parkway entrance to SeaWorld.

COST: Park admission is not required -- but expect to pay $10 parking fee.

CALL: 407-351-3600.

ONLINE: seaworldorlando.com or wftv.com.
