    Default 13th Annual Food and Wine festival

    The 13th Annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will take place on
    September 26 - November 9, 2008
    The theme for 2008 is "Cities in Wonderland" and will feature cuisine from "foodie" cities such as Cork, Ireland; Shanghai, China; Cape Town, South Africa' Bologna, Italy; Mexico City, Tokyo and Marrakesh, Morrocco.
    The Eat To The Beat will feature new acts including En Vogue, Spyro Gyra, David Sanborn and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Among the perennial favorites returning for the event are Jon Secada, , Kool & The Gang and Otis Day & the Knights.

    This popular venue takes place each Saturday during the Food and Wine Festival at the World ShowPlace located between Canada and United Kingdom Pavilions. You’ll begin this memorable evening with reserved seating at the 5:45pm performance of the Eat to the Beat Concert. $135 per person plus tax, gratuity included.
    From 6:30 to 9:00pm, you’ll be sampling the culinary creations of 25 renowned chefs and over 25 wineries and breweries. Each tasting station will be a new sensation for the senses.

    Default Vertical Wine Tastings - 2008

    The focus is wine at this event, which is hosted at the Contemporary Resort's California Grill Restaurant. This is the perfect seminar for both the serious wine gourmand and for those wishing to learn more about fine wines from around the world. Each event features at least 10 vintages from prestigious vintners. Prices vary and are per person plus tax, gratuity included
    • 10/5 - $155: Napa Valley Franciscan Magnificat. Presented by Eric Hemer, Master Somlier and Certified Wine Educator and Tony Dalton, District Manager of Icon Estates. Franciscan is one of the top red wine estates in Napa Valley. Taste 10 vintages of the Franciscan Magnificat wine.
    • 10/12- $155: Lebanon Chateau Musar. Presented by Bartholomew Broadbent and founder of Broadbent Selections. This is considered to be a cult wine from Lebanon, established in 1930. Whites and Reds are featured.
    • 11/2 - $195: Bordeaux Château Pontet Canet. Presented by Alfred Tesseron, Proprietor of Chateau Pontet Canet which is one of the great winemaking dynasties of Bordeaux. Guest will taste 10 vintages while learning about each.
    • 11/9 - $195: California Stag's Leap and Faye Vineyards. Presented by Tim Clark, National Wine Educator for Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and Representative for Stag's Leap Wine Cellars. Guests will taste 5 wines from Stag's Leap and 5 wines from Faye Vineyards.

    This event takes place in the Wonders of Life Festival Cener. Each session is hosted by an expert "fromager" from the Artisanal Cheese Center in NY and other experts in the cheese industry.

    $160 per person plus tax, gratuity included

    This event includes a welcome reception, four course meal and musical performances from the country represented
    10/22 - GREECE: Featuring the talents of Chef Pano Kartassos of Kyma Restaurant in Atlanta and Chef Piero Premoli of Pricci Restaurant in Atlanta. The dinner starts with a welcome reception followed by a four course meal accompanied by modern Greek wines. Live Greek music is performed.
