Coronado Springs Resort...

Anyone of the Cu Crew stay here before? Anyone have any thoughts/photos?

I am out of DVC points til April 1...but DD11 has a 4 day weekend at the end of Feb....prefer her not to miss any school...so...

I booked CSR...for its location, newly refurbed rooms by the time we arrive just wondering if the conventioneers will be an issue..probably if you allow them to be an issue I would guess.

ANd there is some kind of Plastics convention going on while we are there.....
Anyway we booked their new "Business Club Level'..at least I know we will be in Cabanas 9B section....

Its just her and I this trip.....thinking it might be easier than my trip with DD2 in August....
Now that would have been a trip report!!! lol

We stayed here back in October of 2003. We liked it. I never really noticed that it was a "convention hotel" like I've heard other people say. It was beautiful. The theming was spectacular, the pool was cool. DD was 4 1/2 at that time and it was her first water slide. We stayed in Rancho's 6. I think. It was a while ago. I'd have to go and look at my scrapbook! lol I'll have to see if I have some digital pictures and post some. Not sure if they were 35mm or digital.

You will like it. I have honestly never stayed at a Disney hotel I didn't like. I'm at Disney, have a place to lay my head, on property, it's all good!

These were the only ones I had digitally. The better ones were 35mm (yes I know 35mm???) I have a couple of the resort in general and one of the pool (minus the slide off to the right).

I agree, as long as you are on Disney Property!
But I always second guess resort choice! LOL DVC makes it easier not to switch though!
So, would you mind sharing your thoughts CBR vs CSR?
I know there are fewer bus stops at CSR...One thing about SSR too....I can remember being on the bus, thinking.."We're still in SSR? " lo

If I had to pick between CBR and CSR I think I would say CSR. The CBR seemed SOOO large to me. You had to drive every where. CSR is big, but I felt like it was not AS big. We liked both resorts. I prefered the Food at CSR. The Pepper Market was yummy and had tons of choices. When we were at CBR there always seemed to be something closed. The grounds at CSR were definately themed better with little areas with water, and cactus, and bushes and stuff. It was a cool resort. You will like it. Don't second guess yourself! Enjoy!!

And yeah, SSR is HUGE! LOL It took us forever to walk to the main pool!

Oh I always second guess with resorts!! Thought I would be cured with DVC! lol

We enjoyed Grandstand twice at SSR..they have a great private pool , and a nice, quick walk to the main pool!
I did hear that they will close the main pool now at CBR at ten at night, where the Dig site is open late at CSR!
