2009 SS Member Cruise bookings began today

Today is the day! At 9:00am (eastern) on Sunday, November 2nd, the Member Services phone lines will open to begin booking the 2009 SS Member Cruise.

DVCMember.com has an extensive list of advice for those looking to book. Please be sure to check it out and heed the advice.

Since it bears repeating, here are a couple of important tips. If you want to have a choice of any stateroom category, you must call on the first booking day--preferrably as early as possible. Each category has a limited supply of rooms and when they're gone...they are gone. Also be prepared for long wait times on the phone. Booking a cruise takes much longer than a normal DVC reservation and even with a full compliment of agents working, callers may have to wait several hours to make their reservation.

Too many points and too much cash.....and right when the kids are getting back into their school schedule!

Would like to do one day though...however, have read its like an "add on" cruise, they really pushing buying more points. But have met some members who just love this cruise!! i would love all the gifts

I just read it was sold out already, have you heard this?!

last year they were still doing bookings at the DVC Merry Mixer in December!

Anyway, we have done one DCL, our one and only, but I did receive 2 very , colorful, fun brochures from RCCL yesterday in the mail
Just for consideration for 2010..DH will be 50..
He is taking his 2 childhood buddies from CA to HHI to celebrate, hopefully he can get in at 7 mths.

Anyway, he still has to celebrate with his family...so hopefully a cruise
