I've only used it once, when I went with just my DD and didn't want to drive around Disney myself. I would use it again in that situation, but when we go as a family, we always rent a car. It's not the Magical Express we don't care for, it's waiting on Disney park transporation. We like to be on our own schedule.

This trip we had a car and I did explore a little bit but I used Disney's transportation. Since I started this poll I guess I can hijack and ask how you find driving to the parks and getting around from the parks to your car to the resort?

My husband has no problem. We've always rented cars. The roads are well marked and honestly, I think most times, it's quicker to drive yourself. The first time I used resort transportation was when it was just me and my DD. Could I have driven a car and found my way, probably. Did I want to with just my DD, not really.

I read somewhere that a man and women did a test. They both left a park at the same time. She went to the parking lot and took the rental car and their two kids back to the resort. He used park transportation. She was back at the hotel, the kids were bathed and ready for bed before he walked in the door. Don't know if that is absolutely accurate, but I know taking buses seemed to take forever after always driving.

We also like the rental car so we can venture off site to Walmart for snacks and drinks and the occasional off site meal. heck when my husband and I went this past January, our midsized SUV for the week was only $65 (total cost with taxes!). Well worth it to us. It all depends on you really.
