Default Good site for light sticks

I got some 6" light sticks for 50 cents each at King Soopers after halloween and really liked them. They are nice and thick, so I don't mind letting DS play with them (he has a strong oral fixation and things STILL go in his mouth... ugh). The light lasted all night so they would be great for taking on trips.

They have a hook on top that works well to hang from a curtain ring in the bathrooms for gentle light all night long. They also have a loop for a lanyard if you want to hang it from something else (stroller, wear around a neck, tie to a backpack etc).

The brand is Omniglow -- Color Bright

I started searching around for them and the best price I've found is on extremeglow.com.

They have multipacks of 50 for $25 = 50 cents each! (no lanyard with the multipacks) or in individual sealed packs for .74 each and each pack has a black plastic string/lanyard to use (they cost less if you buy more). I called and confirmed that the sticks in the Kip Pack and the Kayla Pack are Omniglow/Color Bright. They also said that as long as the glow sticks are kept in a light proof package, it is fine to get the larger quantaties. The bulk items come in a black zip top bag. The 100 stick bulk pack is also the same brand but you can only get one color.

They also have a page that compares the colors (brightness etc) and other informative info.

Thanks for the info Robin. I was thinking of doing a bulk order for our trip next year since there will be up to 5 kids. They do last a long time. We ordered some for camp a few years ago, big variety pack with hundreds of pieces, necklaces, bracelets, sticks, glasses, and balls. We split them with a friend. It was like $200 for the pack, but they lasted like almost 4 years. They were a bit dull towards the end, and yes after 4 years some didn't glow at all, but we definately got our money's worth. So buying in bulk is the way to go.
